As the recognition of the humanitarian relief work of the Embassy of Hungary, the Red Cross in Kiev handed over a certificate to our mission in Kiev

On August 6, 2015 Nina Guseva, the Chairperson of the Red Cross in Kiev and her deputy, Valentina Harenko paid a visit to the Embassy of Hungary in Kiev. In the absence of Amb. Ernő Keskeny, they were received by Chargé d’Affaires Csaba László Pap. During the discussion the sides exchanged their views on the humanitarian situation of the IDP families which have sought refuge in Kiev. As the recognition of the humanitarian relief work of the Embassy of Hungary, the Red Cross in Kiev handed over a certificate and a thank you note to our mission. The sides agreed to continue their fruitful professional cooperation.
With the assistance of the Government of Hungary, between June 7-14, 2015 107 pupils from IDP families and their accompanying 11 adults were able to take a holiday in Sub-Carpathia. In April 2015 we handed over 600 packages of aid to IDP children, at the end of May also 600 packages were distributed among single IDP mothers.
