New Eurobarometer data on citizens’ views on development, cooperation and aid

The results of the “European Year for Development” public opinion survey undertaken in 28 member states in 2013 were recently published.

Respondents in Hungary have become more positive about many aspects of development since the last survey in 2013.  80 % of Hungarian respondents  (EU 28 85%) say that helping people in developing countries is  important, which is a 14 percentage point increase since 2013 – the largest recorded in any Member State.
