With a view to assisting our partners in the Middle East, in a show of international solidarity, Hungary provided 20 medical ventilators and 20 thousand protective masks to the Republic of Lebanon in order to contribute to tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the medical donation, Hungary was able to provide life-saving support to Lebanon, a country which plays a vital role in receiving Syrian and Palestinian refugees. Mr. Péter Szijjártó, minister of foreign affairs and trade of Hungary, handed over the medical equipment during his visit to Beirut on 26 April 2021.
