Marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations the Hungarian Embassy in Skopje delivered a donation of 3.300 EUR for technical equipment intended for the Secretariat for European Affairs Training Centre in Skopje.

The handover event of sophisticated IT hardware held on the 28th of January was attended by State Secretary Ana Blazeska and Hungarian Ambassador to Macedonia H.E. Dr. József Bencze.

This project was supported by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade from the financial resources for development. Numerous members of the Skopje diplomatic community were also present at the ceremony that included the unveiling of a memorial plaquette inside the training facility together with a good number of local spectators.

The 20 year history of Hungarian-Macedonian friendship was praised with warm words and it was also reiterated that Hungary remains a strategic partner and a strong supporter of Macedonia’s EU aspirations.
